On July 29, two cast steel guide wheels (total net weight of 7.28 metric tons) custom-ordered by our customer from CEX successfully passed acceptance inspection and were loaded onto a ship at the Port of Qingdao for shipment!

The guide wheels delivered in this shipment are made of a special cast steel grade.
They underwent a comprehensive quenching and tempering heat treatment process, with hardness consistently maintained within the 280–300 HB range.
Our technical team strictly monitored every step of the process to ensure that the mechanical properties met the specifications outlined in the customer’s drawings.
CEX’s packaging process is equally rigorous and meticulous.
Since each piece weighs over 3.6 metric tons and belongs to precision-fit components, we specifically commissioned a professional packaging team to seal the items in plastic and fill the packaging with cushioning material, then reinforce them with wooden cases.
This ensures protection against moisture, impact, and deformation during long-distance sea transport.
The packaging solution complies with international maritime shipping standards, allowing the customer to easily unpack and hoist the guide wheels after receiving.
We have established a standardized process for the packaging and shipment of this kind of large cast steel parts.
This order was executed in accordance with European standards, providing us with practical experience in exporting heavy machinery components.
If all goes smoothly, the customer will receive the shipment in early September.
