CEX Completed 6082 Aluminum E-Bike Parts with CNC Machining and Black Anodizing

CEX Casting has completed the CNC machining and surface treatment of a batch of 6082 aluminum alloy parts.

The products are now complete and ready for shipment.

The client commissioned CEX Casting to produce 6082 aluminum alloy parts for e-bike accessories.

These parts were manufactured using CNC machining, followed by sandblasting and black anodizing.

Sandblasting was employed to refine the machined surface finish, creating a good foundation for subsequent surface treatment.

The anodizing process forms a dense, hard aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃) layer on the 6082 aluminum alloy surface, providing resistance to friction and impact from road debris during daily e-bike use, while effectively protecting the base material from corrosion caused by rain, sweat, and road salts.

In accordance with the client’s drawings, dimensional control during machining adhered to ISO 2768-mK tolerances.

As the design includes two threaded holes, CEX Casting not only provided a full dimensional inspection report but also conducted assembly verification for the threaded connections to ensure the machined threads met assembly requirements.

For CEX Casting, completing machining and inspection does not mean the job is done.

Every product represents the time and effort of our production team.

As always, each part in this batch was carefully protected and packed.

We take care to make our products well, and we take the same care to protect them before handing them over to our customers.
